Gavin Limited and NEL (National Engineering Laboratory - UK) are proud
to announce a new collaboration to provide the process industry with a
co-ordinated engineering service to reduce the effects of heat exchanger
fouling.
Working in partnership, Cal Gavin is marketing a unique fouling
monitoring and diagnostic tool developed by NEL for measuring fouling
phenomena in cooling water and other process fluids.
Combining the accurate measurement of fouling rates on a process
side-stream, with the ability to evaluate mitigation strategies online,
produces a winning formula for reducing plant operating costs.
Features of the monitor and
service:
- Side-stream monitor reflects actual process conditions in heat
exchanger, including the application of heat transfer enhancement
- High accuracy measurement
- Signal output to allow data logging through existing plant control
system
- Can be supplied with a PC notebook with preloaded software for
instant graphical display of the development of fouling with time
- On-board data storage for twelve months continuous operation
