Cal Gavin Ltd and Process Integration Ltd “working together from plant integration and optimisation study to delivered project implementation”.

The consortia provide clients with a 5 stage plant improvement package:-

• Initial Survey and Audit  – Collecting stream and flowsheet data from the client, together with initial brief report on survey and audit of the client’s thermal management and potential  improvement measures of energy use.
• Plant Study to identify low cost efficiency improvement opportunities – Application of conceptual design/retrofit process integration tools, targeted to meet plant development needs including enhanced heat recovery. Full report to client with verification of the integrated solutions recommended.
• Detailed engineering plan – Review of individual items of equipment including mechanical design. Detailed examination of the flow field, heat transfer in complex geometry, design examination from a network perspective, application of process intensification, pressure drop and fouling mitigation
• Organisation and supervision of plant improvement implementation – Process integration and heat transfer intensification solutions implementation at client’s plant.
• Post implementation support – Revisit plant to verify overall performance for feedback, future reference and retrospective analysis.
