1. Tutorial
with Examples
Here the User finds application examples for the use of hiTRAN.SP
in standalone and interactive mode. It is also explains how the
program interacts with ACOL (HTFS / Aspentech) and Xace (HTRI)
for the
design of the air cooler.
2. Literature and Presentations
In this folder you can
access a comprehensive selection of published literature
concerning applications with hiTRAN turbulators.
In the hiTRAN movie the impact of hiTRAN Elements on
flow behaviour is shown, it is essentially the repeat of the
Reynolds experiment with a tube equipped with hiTRAN Elements.
hiTRAN.SP is only applicable to calculate the performance of
hiTRAN turbulators in single phase applications.
In the
"hiTRAN General" PowerPoint presentation beneficial effects in
certain two-phase flow applications are demonstrated.
In a final
section it is explained how to install hiTRAN Elements to
different types of heat exchangers.
